Customer Experience
The old Cape Dutch manor and restored barns give the estate a sense of living history, welcoming yet grand.
Plaisir is a historic Cape Dutch farm, established in 1693, nestled at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain between Paarl and Franschhoek, spanning acres of vines, lawns and oak trees.
You can tell the owners here treat themselves as custodians of the land, and you feel it in the way the property flows.
As a visit experience, one enters a place designed for calm: broad lawns, walking trails through vineyards, and dedicated accommodation cottages create a sense of slow-living.
